Labor and Party

Yesterday, I labored. And labored and labored and labored. See the evidence of my labor here:

I made my momma's brisket (almost 9 pounds worth) and fruit salad with honey key lime "dressing" plus these three recipes:

And I'm going to toot my own horn. It's all gone. Every bite.

Pot scraped... I would have licked it myself if there hadn't been so many people around.

You can see my pajama pants in the top of this pic and the next. These are "morning-after" pics. And by "morning"... I mean "around noonish." Oops.

Oh... and these were empty, too.

LOVE IT!!! You didn't happen to make the baked beans from PW's blog???? I just wrote that recipe down yesterday to try.... was it good??? :) I"m very impressed with your cooking skills... and your mess! :)

Yes I did make the PW blog beans! they were awesome! The only thing I didn't do is let them sit after I took them out of the oven. I think they would have gotten thicker if I would have done that.
