P.S.

On the picture of my Christmas tree from my last blog... that isn't a fancy tree skirt you are seeing... it's 7 striped brown, bronze, gold placemats.  Last year, a little mouse dragged a glue trap into my "tree skirts" (two pieces of shiny blue and brown chiffon type material) so we had to get rid of them.  And this year I was running out of time and thought... WHY YES.  I will use placemats.  And it worked out quite well.

Before the end of the week, I will be posting my Christmas brunch story from 2008 for those of you who haven't heard it.  It's a doozy.

What do your grandparents do? How did you end up working for them? Is it fun?

I love you. That is all. The placemats are sweet.

They have a gravel pit that they've turned into a concrete and asphalt recycling center type thing. Do a lot of stuff for the city... like the tollroad in Austin. They just have the materials.

I'm just doing their invoicing and stuff like that. It's really busy so days go by pretty fast. I worked for them right after I graduated and it was very slow so this is a nice change. Plus, I work at their house... which is sort of bad because it makes me want to eat sausage balls and nap! But overall, it's really good!
